I had the pleasure of meeting Carson from https://www.floofybluedragon.com and was delighted to be able to purchase and read "Spirit Dog" last night (well... Kyle read it out loud....) with the kids. What a charming and realistic way to deal with the topic of losing pets.
We have not lost Milo or LJ, but when we do we feel a little more prepared having started the conversation with the kids.
AND they appreciate our furry besties a little more now :) Everyone snuggled Milo a little more than usual last night.
