Meadowbrooke Gourds, Inc. Meadowbrooke Gourds is the largest maker of hand crafted gourds in the world! Our farm lies at the roots of the Blue Mountain in central Pennsylvania.

Here is where all our gourds are grown, as well as the exceptional people who create them. We hope if you are ever in the Carlisle area you stop by and see for yourself what we do, how we do it and this group of good hearted people behind it all.

Come out and visit us on this beautiful Fall day! Our sunflowers are in full bloom and we still have wildflowers. You can pick from 7AM through dusk. Remember to bring your clippers and a bucket to put your flowers in. Our water station is open for your convenience. Just look for the large orange flags that say "SUNFLOWERS", you can't miss them! Our gift shop is also open until 6PM each evening. Also, don't forget our annual Sunflower Festival is this weekend, running 10AM - 6PM both Saturday and Sunday. We'll see you soon!

The making of a Thanksgiving classic! 🦃

Here’s a quick peek at some of the final handcrafted steps that make our limited Westley Turkey design so special! Westley is handcrafted from two separate gourds, one becoming the body and the other becoming the head. Westley is finished with details such as wooden arms and a tail, hand-painted eyes, a festive hat, and rests on a piece of wood for versatile decorating. 🍂

Visit our farm just outside of Carlisle and pick free free sunflowers, enjoy a food truck, and stop in our store on Saturday, September 19th for a paint your own gourd open classroom! Our fields are open from 7am - dusk every day. Check our website for maps of the best fields, and more info!
