Short day in the shop today. But, I made some time to squeeze in the squeezing in of yet another set of Fishman Music Fluence pickups into this Ibanez Guitars RG421. Yep, you’ve seen this process before. My customer now has a full set of these guitars with this particular set of pickups, wired in a similar fashion and all tuned in different ways. Variety is good, ya know. Rasta is wondering why the router has to be so dern loud…

And the RRR fundraiser shirts are in! If your order includes a pickup here at the shop, you can pickup today until 6pm, tomorrow from 10-3 and then we’ll be back in on Tuesday at 9am after the holiday weekend. Shipped orders will be going out very soon, please keep an eye out for yours. Once again, a Big Thank You to everyone who purchased a shirt for this fundraiser. We grossed over $5k with this one and could not have done that without you. Once we know the exact amount that will be donated to Vickie’s Angel Foundation I will put up a post with that info. Good job, everyone!

Good afternoon. What’s for lunch, you ask? Pulling well worn frets from 47 year old ebony and trying not to bang my knee off the bench, that’s what. Thank you very much for asking…

The second of 3 different Tele builds in the shop that’s headed home this weekend. This was a mix of an allpartsmusic neck (great necks, btw), a bloomdoom22 body, RS Guitarworks harness, Arcane Inc. ® pickups, Ron Thorn brass knuckle saddle and a bunch of other killer bits and pieces brought together to produce a pretty killer blackguard axe for our customer. No doubt, this was a fun one. Need help with your project build? We can help!

Shoehorning a set of Fishman Music Fluence pickups into an Ibanez Guitars RG421S and starting 2 of 3 different Tele builds today (among many other things). Not bad, for a Friday.

Good evening, everyone! I got super busy in the shop today and forgot to make this post earlier, so here it is…
We have a slightly modified schedule for tomorrow (Saturday). The shop will be open 9a-2p, rather than our normal 10a-3p. It’s my birthday tomorrow so I’m taking the day off. Dylan will be here, covering the shop for me while I take a moment to smell the roses. Repair/service customers, please make note of the schedule change and plan accordingly for drop offs and pickups. Otherwise, see y’all on Tuesday morning at 9am. Have a great weekend!!
