Last year, we started carrying The McGuire Homestead milk and tallow products handmade by Lindsay McGuire in Germantown. Recently their daughter, Julianne, was diagnosed with Atypical Rett Syndrome. Below is a link to a fundraiser to help get a professionally trained service dog. A service dog is not simply a pet or companion—it is a highly trained medical support partner. For children with Rett syndrome, a service dog can make an incredible difference in both safety and quality of life. More information about Julianne's story is included in the link. If you're not able to give at this time, your prayers for her and her family would be appreciated.
