Street Fighter Saturdays: Chun-Li 🐉⚡

Week four of the series brings us to one of the most iconic fighters in gaming history: Chun-Li.

After last week’s post, I asked followers who they wanted to see featured next, and Chun-Li was the clear favorite. It only felt right to give one of Street Fighter’s most legendary characters her own spotlight.

Jada Toys absolutely nailed this figure. The sculpt, facial expressions, articulation, and overall screen accuracy make this one of the strongest releases in the entire Street Fighter line. Whether she’s facing down rival fighters, taking on Shadaloo, or charging up a Kikoken, every pose feels like it came straight out of the arcade.

This shoot ended up becoming a celebration of everything that makes Chun-Li such a legendary character. For this set, I used both versions from my collection: the standard blue release and the Target-exclusive red variant. Having both figures opened up a lot of creative possibilities and helped bring a wider range of classic Street Fighter moments to life.

From traditional martial arts showdowns and tournament fights to cinematic battles against M. Bison and Shadaloo, the variety of poses and display options made this one incredibly fun to photograph.

The temple scenes were some of my favorites, capturing the more traditional side of the character, while the action shots really showcased just how dynamic this figure can be. Adding energy effects, dramatic lighting, and a few fight-night moments helped bring the world of Street Fighter to life.

Jada Toys continues to impress with this line. Every new release somehow raises the bar, and Chun-Li is no exception.

Each week we’ll highlight a different Street Fighter character as part of the series.

And for week four, Chun-Li felt like the perfect choice.

For this week’s Marvel Mondays feature, we’re spotlighting the Marvel Legends Fantastic Four She-Hulk by Hasbro.

Jennifer Walters has been many things throughout Marvel history: attorney, Avenger, Defender, and one of the strongest heroes on Earth. During her time with the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk stepped in to help fill the gap when Ben Grimm temporarily left the team, proving she was more than capable of standing alongside Marvel’s First Family.

Hasbro’s Fantastic Four She-Hulk captures that era perfectly with a comic-inspired design, vibrant colors, alternate portraits, and the unmistakable blue-and-white Fantastic Four uniform. Whether displayed alongside the FF or as a standalone centerpiece, this figure brings plenty of personality and shelf presence to any Marvel collection.

For this photo series, we imagined a world where She-Hulk’s arrival to the team became headline news. From official Baxter Building personnel files to press conferences and public appearances, each image explores what life might look like for the newest member of the Fantastic Four.

Sometimes saving the world means smashing villains.

Sometimes it means attending press events and filling out onboarding paperwork.

Either way, Jennifer Walters seems more than qualified.

📼 Wandering Wednesdays - Episode 1: The Arrival

For the first entry in our new weekly series, Deadpool has somehow found himself in one of the internet’s most infamous locations: the Backrooms.

Armed with absolutely no plan, questionable survival instincts, and a camera that probably shouldn’t be trusted, he seems more interested in posing for photos than finding a way out.

This episode recreates Backrooms Level 0, the endless maze of yellow hallways, buzzing fluorescent lights, and unsettlingly familiar office spaces where countless stories begin.

Will Deadpool find an exit?

Probably.

Will he actively look for one?

That’s a different question.

📼 New episodes of Wandering Wednesdays will be posted every Wednesday as Deadpool explores deeper levels of the Backrooms.

Marvel Mondays continues.

For this entry in the series, we’re featuring the Marvel Legends Strong Guy by Hasbro.

One of the most unique members of X-Factor, Guido Carosella is known for his incredible strength, larger-than-life personality, and unmistakable look. Hasbro did an excellent job bringing the character to life with an imposing sculpt, vibrant colors, and a shelf presence that’s impossible to ignore.

Whether he’s training in the gym, hanging around the Xavier Institute, or accidentally turning every workout into a superhuman feat of strength, Strong Guy brings a perfect mix of power and humor to any display.

This photo series was designed to highlight both sides of the character. The unstoppable mutant powerhouse capable of lifting impossible weights, and the fan-favorite personality that never takes himself too seriously.

Every Monday we’ll continue spotlighting a different Marvel character with a new themed photo series.

Strong Guy seemed like the perfect choice to bring some heavyweight energy to this week’s installment.

Balrog. 🥊

Third entry in the series: Balrog. The former heavyweight champion enters the ring.

Jada Toys absolutely crushed this figure. The size, expression work, articulation, and overall presence make him feel ripped straight out of the arcade era of Street Fighter. Every pose feels powerful, aggressive, and full of personality, exactly how Balrog should feel.

The boxing gym setups, arena shots, and fight-night atmosphere made this one especially fun to photograph. Between the dramatic lighting, sweat effects, and championship-fight energy, this set ended up feeling like a title fight from the 90s.

Honestly, this line just keeps getting better.

Each week we’ll highlight a different Street Fighter character as part of the series.

And for week three, Balrog felt like the perfect choice.
