Door County Distillery is one of the few hand-crafted distilleries in the state of Wisconsin and the first in Door County to produce vodka, gin and fruit infused vodka. The distillery is reminiscent of the casual, pastural surroundings of Door County and showcased in the stone-barn style feel of the building's exterior, yet modern and elegant inside, showcasing the copper still and small batch, on

-site production. The Distillery is classic Door County, as are the spirits, distilled with clean, limestone infused waters from the Door Peninsula. The first series release pays homage to the waters surrounding the county featuring the doors of lighthouses located in Door County. Come visit the new distillery open daily 9:00-6:00, with complimentary tastings.

Restock plus new options! Wood Stove Kitchen syrups and mixers have been flying off the shelves, so we just got more of our most popular mixes back in stock.

We also ordered two additional mixes: Apple Hot Toddy (which goes great with our Apple Brandy) and Salted Caramel Espresso Martini! This may be our last order of the season so stop in today to buy your favorites or try something new before they disappear! Cheers!

Hey hey, it’s Friday! You know what that means…more live music in the Wine and Cocktail Garden! Today we have Leah Brooke playing from 4-7 pm. Come enjoy a cocktail and her unique blend of bluesy jazzy pop rock covers and originals. Have you tried our newest cocktails yet? The Raspberry Elderflower Lemonade hits the spot on a warm summer day. We hope you’ll join us!

Ready for ? We’re at the very end of Door County cherry season, so today’s cocktail begins with our Cherry Moonshine. We distill the moonshine and then hand scoop fresh Door County Montmorency tart cherries into each jar before sealing. This gives the moonshine a natural cherry flavor and each cherry a powerful moonshine punch perfect for a garnish or float. Cheers!

Cherry Moonshine Sunrise

1 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Moonshine
2 oz orange juice
1/2 oz grenadine
Club soda to fill*
3 moonshine cherries for garnish

Add Cherry Moonshine and orange juice to a cocktail glass filled with ice. Slowly pour in the grenadine and wait until it sinks to the bottom. Add club soda. Garnish with moonshine cherries.

*If you like a sweeter cocktail, sub lemon lime soda.

We can’t believe it’s already been a week since Alex Strouf and Mr. Irrelevant had their live broadcast right in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. Big thanks to Alex, Josh, Will (holding it down in HQ) and the whole ESPN Madison ESPN Milwaukee crew for coming up. It was a fun afternoon and great to see the podcast in person! Thanks also to anyone who joined us for all or part of the show. We hope we can make this an annual tradition so if you missed it, stay tuned for next year. Cheers!

We've got three chances for Free Live Music this weekend in the Wine and Cocktail Garden! First, come see Maddie Batzli on Friday, July 24th from 4-7 PM. They'll be performing a beautiful mix of covers and originals and we're excited to have them back at the Garden.

Then Saturday, July 25th we're keeping the Carlsville Day party going with two different groups. From 10:30 AM-2 PM, come check out Breakfast Club, performing the best 80's hits to get you moving and grooving. Then, from 3-6:30 PM, it's The Cougars! This full band is led by a trio of women, performing powerhouse harmonies from pop, rock, country, and more. Come enjoy some wine, a cocktail, or a Bloody Mary, and have some fun with us! Cheers!

Carlsville Day is this Saturday, July 25th! Come celebrate Carlsville all day long with games, rides, live music, food trucks, and more!

We'll be open and keeping the party going from 9 am-7 pm on Saturday. Here are some highlights that we'll have at Door Peninsula Winery and Door County Distillery:

Papa B's Food Truck: 10:30 am-6:30 pm
Live music by BreakfastClub : 10:30 am-2:00 pm
Live music by Cougars Band : 3:00-6:30 pm

We'll also have carnival rides, games to play both inside and outside, a Bloody Mary bar, and one day only sales and deals on merchandise. There will be fun things going on all throughout Carlsville and beyond, plus free trolley rides available to all the Carlsville stops. Make your plan now to come out and enjoy all the festivities. Hey hey, it's Friday and you know what that means...more Free Live Music! Come out today, Friday, July 17th for Leah Brooke bringing a mix of soulful, bluesy covers and originals from 4-7 PM in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. It looks like the wildfire smoke will continue to clear throughout the day and no more rain in the forecast right now, so conditions should be great for enjoying a cocktail in the Garden. We've also still got Bomb Pop Slushies available, so if you haven't gotten yours yet or maybe want a second round, you can get yours this weekend. Cheers!
