Every detail of a reception table is part of a larger design story…

For Jessica and Matt’s wedding at , the florals were designed to echo the palette and textures chosen throughout the day. Airy whites and pale blues weaving through the linens, china, and flatware to create a table that felt soft, romantic, and effortlessly at home in Carmel Valley.

POV: you get married under a rose-covered arbor at The Farmhouse Inn.

This ceremony was designed to feel like the garden simply decided to gather around them.

Layered baskets. Stone-toned vessels. Grounded meadows spilling into the aisle.
Nothing stiff. Nothing symmetrical. Just intentional movement.

The goal?
Romantic. Immersive. Effortless on camera.

The kind of ceremony that doesn’t feel decorated… it feels discovered.

And yes, we built it to photograph beautifully from every angle because your ceremony is not background. It’s the moment.

If you’re planning a Northern California wedding and want your ceremony to feel like an experience, not just a setup, save this for your mood board.

A peek behind our name:

Tumbleweed didn’t begin as a metaphor. It began as motion.

Twelve years ago, I was running a floral truck. Popping up at markets. Loading buckets at sunrise. Chasing events across town.

The name felt literal. Always moving. Always building. Always in pursuit of what was next.

Back then, Tumbleweed meant momentum.

But somewhere along the way, it began to mean something deeper.

A tumbleweed survives by adapting. It moves with the wind, not against it. It gathers. It transforms. It doesn’t cling to one place or one version of itself. And neither have I.

Over the last twelve years, I’ve grown from a girl with a flower truck into a mother, a wife, a creative director designing multi-day celebrations and immersive installations.

The name stayed. But the meaning evolved.

Now, Tumbleweed speaks to movement of a different kind. Design that feels alive. Instinctual. Shaped by season.

We curate the rare. We honor what is fleeting. We translate nature’s scarcity into refined floral work that lives beyond the moment.

The wind changes and so do we.

no focal blooms, by design.

for cecilia and chris’ ceremony at ’s terrace, we focused on a texture-driven approach using soft pinks and whites. low, continuous florals created movement without a single focal point, resulting in an aisle that felt delicate and painterly, almost like a monet garden come to life.

subtle, layered, and intentional.
