"The Chalone tasting room at Carmel Plaza will celebrate the iconic third place finish of Chalone’s 1974 Chardonnay in the 1976 Judgment of Paris, this Sunday, May 3, from noon to 4pm.

Taste and purchase the Chalone 50th Anniversary Edition 2024 Chardonnay, made in commemoration of the wine and the event that helped put Chalone on the world map. The first place Chardonnay in 1976 was a 1973 Chateau Montelena, and the second was Roulet Meursault Charmes Premier Cru 1973."
