I wanted to share some updates with you all. Chris is now permanently retired. As for me, Becky, I’m still working but have plans to retire in the next year or two. Despite our divorce, Chris and I have remained friends.

In an exciting new venture, my sister Jackie and I have purchased a lovely Pleasure Way OnTour 2.2 class B conversion van, which we’ve affectionately named Daisy. We enjoyed our first “glamping” night at Laguna Seca racetrack!

I took a solo trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina and then back to Monterey for the entire month of October 2024, accompanied by my two dogs. Daisy has proven to be perfect for my needs.

It’s always a pleasure to hear from some of you now and then, and I really enjoy running into you in person from time to time. That’s all the news for now!

It's hard to believe Chris Sollecito created this 10 years ago! I'll ask him to post here, the "Paul Harvey" version of how & why he destroyed this very expensive model and what happened to it.. CAR WEEK is gearing up again...I miss seeing Barry Rowe, Thierry & Bev Thompson, ALL our regular customers, Greg Penn. All our regulars from Texas! Many have 2nd homes here so I've been thrilled to "bump" into quite a few here & there. Faces are flashing through my mind right now. The ten years we owned Woodies of Carmel, were some of the most memorable years of my life. I have such fond memories. I'm happy to be friends with so many on fb. I follow "SAVE A BATTERY" Frank & Leah Gabrielli, they are living the MOTORSPORTS lifestyle & building a dream garage right now. Lead foot Lulu is almost my neighbor. Dave Keetch lost our beloved Cindy Keetch to Covid recently. RIP Cindy. I haven't talked to any alfaholics lately. I'm still in love with Porsches. Chris & I remain friends and our health is much improved. I'm cancer free and Chris remains ❤attack free!Have a good summer everyone!

Be sure and plan a visit to Thierry Thompson's art gallery while you're in Carmel. We featured his art in our store, it's some of the most fabulous fine automobile art you will ever see! And he paints more subjects than cars!
