Please slow down, the rainy weather has triggered turtles to be on the move crossing roadways. We’ve already lost one turtle this morning. Let’s be mindful of our wildlife.

July 11th was our biggest. Sales. Day. Ever. (It was also almost the third day I’ve cried at the shop, but thankfully we averted that crisis.)

Oh HECK yes. Invest now, and save money for drivers and state agencies in the long run.

Numerous state agencies have joined to create more wildlife crossings and corridors to prevent animal-vehicle collisions and connect habitats.

The state’s new Wildlife Connectivity Workgroup will work together to find more opportunities to build the crossings, which are manmade passageways under or above roads, and corridors that connect habitats.

JUST ANNOUNCED!! A meet and greet at the shop with horror writer 💀

Keith will be in town for Stokercon (something else you may want to look into…) and graciously agreed to stop by our shop just before heading back home. He was also nice enough to join one of our book clubs () by video recently to discuss his latest release, Coffin Moon.

Back to the event: We will have full stock on all of his books, including a few of his older ones that we haven’t gotten in before! Come grab a new one, complete your set, and get everything signed in one fell swoop.

He is a super down-to-earth guy who has been supportive of everything we do here since we first crossed paths on the socials, and I would love to be able to return the favor with a BUMPIN’ event at our bookstore. Hope to see ya soon!

Starting Monday NEXT WEEK, we’ll be open from 9am until 7pm every day except Sunday, and an extra hour later on Thursday nights (8pm). Hours will be updated on Google soon.
