How in the world are Maui & Priya already ONE?! 🐾 We swear we just brought these two knuckleheads home yesterday… and somehow they’ve already spent an entire year turning our house into their personal playground and adding so much personality to our daycare crew. 😂

Between two Great Danes and their feral siblings, Taege & Janie, there is absolutely no shortage of chaos around here. 🤪 One minute everybody’s getting along and innocent… the next minute we’re questioning every life decision that led us here. 😂

Happy 1st birthday to our Maui & Priya! 🎉 We wouldn’t trade the slobber, zoomies, giant paws, or daily circus for anything.

Four feral children… two just happen to have four legs. 😂🐾

Can someone please explain why we thought getting TWO Great Danes when we already had TWO feral children running around Keller Creek was a good idea?! 😂

Were we having some sort of temporary lapse in judgment? A brain aneurysm? Did we just completely stop thinking altogether? Because apparently we looked at Taege and Janie and said, “You know what this house needs? Two 100+ pound puppies.” 🤦‍♀️😂

Maui’s latest hobby is stealing the toilet paper and sprinting through the house with it flying behind him like a wild goose being chased across a field. 🧻💨

Meanwhile, Taege and Janie are absolutely LOSING IT, cheering him on like this is the greatest entertainment Keller Creek has ever offered.

And then Maui stops… looks at us with that innocent Great Dane face like, “What? I didn’t do anything.” 😇

So now we have two feral children encouraging two feral Great Danes, and Mom and Dad are just standing here questioning every life decision we’ve ever made.

We don’t advertise our grooming services very often because, thankfully, our schedules stay pretty full and many of our grooming clients have been part of the Keller Creek family for years.

A couple of months ago, one of our longtime clients sadly lost her Lucy. She told us she didn’t think she would ever get another Yorkie… but sometimes the right pup finds his way into your life when you least expect it. 🐾

Meet Mr. Ozzie! His mom brought him in today for his very first grooming at Keller Creek!

We have to clean the pup bus almost every day… but on the days certain pups ride — 👀💩 — Ashley has to take things to the next level. 😂

She transforms into the Keller Creek Pumpkin P**p Fairy 🧚‍♀️🎃✨, tutu and all, sprinkling her magical pumpkin spice spray throughout the bus until it smells less like “Dutton wasnt here” and more like a fall candle exploded. 🤣

With gas prices the way they are, we figured it was time to make a few budget cuts… so the Pup Bus has officially been replaced by two horsepower. 🤣

No gas. No diesel. Just hay, oats, and a whole lot of dog hair.

Every day is an adventure with our daycare crew! 🐾😂

Loading the pup bus each morning is basically like loading a school bus full of furry toddlers who don’t listen, have zero personal space, and all think they deserve the front seat. 🚌🐶

No two mornings are ever the same… somebody’s barking, somebody’s trying to steal a seat, somebody’s overly excited, and there’s always at least one pup acting like they’ve never been on the bus before—even though they ride it every week. 🤣

✨ MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY ✨

What makes you get up and go on a Monday morning?

What drives you to keep pushing, keep growing, and keep trying to become a better version of yourself?

Mondays can be hard for all of us. Sometimes that alarm goes off and the last thing you want to do is get up and face another busy week. But I think sometimes it’s all about changing your perspective.

Instead of thinking, “Here we go again…” try asking yourself, “What do I have to be grateful for today?”

For me, it’s these dogs riding around on this pup bus. 🐾 It’s my kids. It’s my family. It’s the people and animals who depend on me every single day. They’re my reason to keep going, even on the hard days.

We live in a world that can feel incredibly negative sometimes, and life definitely isn’t always easy. But if we really stop and look around, most of us still have so much to be thankful for.

So while I’m driving this pup bus around this Monday morning, I’m curious: what’s keeping you going today? Drop your “why” in the comments—whether it’s your family, your goals, your pets, your faith, or simply getting through one more day. You never know who might need to hear your reason and find a little motivation of their own.

What’s your “why”? What gets you out of bed? What keeps you motivated when life gets hard?

Whatever it is, hold onto it this week.

Gentry comes to us with previous experience in the animal care industry, including time spent working in a grooming facility earlier in her career. She brings not only experience with animals, but plenty of real-life experience, common sense, and—most importantly—she knows how to work! 😂🙌
