Fakes! We are shocked to see the number of fake coins that come in to our store each week. One of the reasons to buy/sell from a trusted local coin shop like us is because we can test the coins right in front of you. EVERY coin that goes into our display case is tested before we put it in for sale, and we are more than happy to test it again, in front of you, before purchase. In the last month, we have talked to customers that have lost up to $40,000 on fake, or over priced scams. Fakes were around when silver was $20 an ounce. Now that it is over $70, there are more scammers than ever.
