Now we can officially announce it we’ve got some exciting news 🎉!!!!! Long post alert, but there’s a lot of people I need to thank for helping this crazy dream become a reality!!
Artful Gifts is THRILLED to be a recipient of the AMEX Shop Small Grants Program, thanks to Express and Street America!!
This grant is more than just funding; it’s an investment in our ability to grow, innovate and continue showing up for our community in meaningful ways.
As a small business, every decision matters. This support will help us renovate our first floor shop store front! This allows us to better serve our customers and meet the evolving needs of our community.
We’re especially proud to be part of this initiative, and join a network of over 500 small businesses across the country— made possible by investments like this grant that empower small businesses to keep moving forward.
It’s feels amazing to have a program on this level see the potential in our dream!! Not gonna lie it’s been a crazy obstacle dealing with the city….but thanks to an amazing Design and Review Board (I’m still so sorry you all knew nothing about our plans until it was almost to late)…..Carrollton Tourism, Misty you and your ladies have been the BEST group any town can ask for!! You all have always been so helpful and supportive, and I’ll never forget you came down the afternoon I let you know I was applying to ask how you could help ❤️ !!
Can’t forget our pretty awesome code enforcer….I was excited to see someone excited about our idea, and someone wanting to talk about it happening….a breath of fresh air!!!! Although I know I’m a lot to deal with, you have stuck up for us and our shop…..and you will never truly know how much that meant to me! I mean you probably did since I can get pretty emotional haha but you see my passion and could see my point (even when it was a tough process)…..Robert, I know I need to talk slower so you can understand me haha but you have been amazing and so helpful through this crazy process….even on our original shop construction, you have always been great, and I know Jacob loves talking to someone who understands him 😆). Can’t forget Bill and the Chamber 💗 ….Thank you for answering my crazy questions( it was so obvious I knew nothing about grant applying), but you answered them all and gave me the push to just apply!!!!
I am not exaggerating when I say a miracle happened, we finally got City approval…… and now we’re about to show Carrollton what we can do 💪!!! Stay tuned it’s about to get amazing 🤩 !!! American Express and Main Street of America, from the bottom of my everything we thank you 🙏 💫 💕!!!!
