Yesterday was a day we will never forget.
Thursday, September 17th, 2026 marked the official launch of Layer Cake Cheesecake at A Peek In The Attic — and we couldn’t have asked for a more special place, or more wonderful people, to help us begin this journey. ❤️
We want to start by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to A Peek In The Attic for welcoming Layer Cake Cheesecake into your beautiful store and giving us the opportunity to introduce our little cheesecake creations to your customers and community.
From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew there was something special about this place. A Peek In The Attic has that warm, nostalgic, welcoming feeling that makes you want to slow down, look around, discover something new, and spend a little more time enjoying the experience.
And now, Layer Cake Cheesecake gets to be a small part of that experience.
That means more to us than we can put into words.
But there are two people who deserve an extra-special thank you.

You two officially made history for Layer Cake Cheesecake by becoming our VERY FIRST CUSTOMERS!
There is something incredibly special about knowing that when we look back years from now, we will always be able to say:

You were there at the very beginning.
You were the first people to purchase our cheesecakes when we officially launched. You took a chance on a new local business, supported what we're building, and helped turn something that started as an idea into something real.
We truly appreciate you more than you know.
Every business has a first customer.
For us, that first customer wasn't just a sale.
It was a memory.
It was encouragement.
It was confirmation that the long hours, experimenting with recipes, figuring out packaging, designing labels, building the brand, and putting ourselves out there were all worth it.
And now, when we see these pictures, we'll always remember where it started.
