Bob and I are heading to the Black Rock to deliver more Hot-Pots to the Friends of the Black Rock Store in Gerlach Nevada. If you are local be sure and stop by the store and support the local community.

The Hot-Pot was a hit one evening during the Black Rock Desert Perseid Meteor camp-out. It provided a place to bring people together and some of the kids at the camp-out roasted marsh-mellows on it.

Bob is the creator of the Hot-Pot. He has been has been a machinist for over 40 years and manages his own machine shop ShadeTree Machine LLC. Each Hot-Pot is manufactured, cleaned, and boxed in Dayton, NV.

Are wood pellets really good for the environment? Yes they are! Burning wood pellets releases fewer particle emissions than wood. Also, pellet manufactures obtain wood through sustainable forestry practices, often clean, leftover material from lumber plants & mills. If not for wood pellets these products would have ended up rotting in landfills.
