Black Bartow Events is excited to welcome Mulkey’s Munchies to the lineup for the Spring Day Party on April 11 in downtown Cartersville! 🍭☀️

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, make sure you stop by their vendor booth. Mulkey’s Munchies will be serving up their popular freeze-dried candy, plus some brand new treats added to the menu — fresh cotton candy and sour flavored gushers that are guaranteed to hit the spot while you’re enjoying the music and the vibes.

Today, we celebrate Justice Robert Benham, a trailblazer from Bartow County who made history in Georgia’s legal system.

Born and raised in Cartersville, Justice Benham became the first African American to serve on the Georgia Supreme Court, eventually rising to Chief Justice. He also holds the distinction of being the second African-American graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and the first Black attorney in Bartow County.

Justice Benham’s career is a powerful example of determination, leadership, and breaking barriers. His work has inspired generations of lawyers, judges, and community leaders across Georgia and beyond.

This Black History Month, we honor Justice Benham not just for his accomplishments, but for paving the way for future generations to achieve excellence in law and public service.

We’re excited to highlight Mulkey’s Munchies as a featured vendor at the Black Business Showcase and Community Resource Fair on Saturday, February 28th, in downtown Cartersville, from 3:00 PM–6:00 PM.

Known for their fun, flavorful treats, Mulkey’s Munchies will be serving up:
• Freeze Dried Candy
• Sour Candy Creations
• Sour Gushers (Recently viral on social media)
