This bag has been in the works in my head for over a year. Tons of fabric shopping and second guessing myself, but it is finally complete. Each Mickey's colors represent a different Disney Princess. This is my first time doing applique. I am so in love with this bag, that I am going to have to make myself one. Patricia Frazier, thank you for being the most patient sister on the planet. I hope you enjoy your new tote.

Apparently my sewjo decided to take a vacation this week. 🧵😂

When inspiration is running low, sometimes the best thing to do is keep it simple. Instead of tackling complicated bag projects, I spent some time making cozy baby blankets and soft burp cloths. They're quick, practical, and honestly pretty satisfying to finish!

Not every sewing day has to be about big projects or learning new techniques. Sometimes it's about enjoying the process, getting a few finishes under your belt, and waiting for that creative spark to come back.

Does anyone else's hobby mojo disappear from time to time, or is it just me? 🤔

Spent the morning at the Georgia Celebrates Quilts Show. I love seeing all the beautiful quilts. Here are a few of my favorites. Looking forward to making my second quilt ever this year. Now to go home and sew!

I love that my son has the same core teachers each year at the Hiram Academy of Computer Science. I also love getting to show them that we appreciate how much they pour into him.
