Turned what was left of the pine. Had a small bowl in mind when I started but morphed into something else as I proceeded. Maybe a miniature chalice or a cup without a handle? I don't know.
I like how it looks, especially the black resin used to fill that crack.

Just finished a project I started just prior to Christmas. A candle holder. Made from a lodgepole pine log picked up on a camping trip. It developed a crack as it dried. Turned out to be pretty interesting I think.
