My newest skill after my annual pilgrimage to the Rocky Mountain Leather Show in Sheridan, WY. Extreme Embossing. The large skull was completed in class. The two smaller ones were because someone challenged me to make smaller skulls that could be used as hat pins. I need a bit more practice on the tiny one, but he does look better in person than in the picture.

Each of these started out as a flat piece of leather and are now completely 3D.

This was a fun commission! It is sheepskin lined, fits a .45 long c**t, and is Mountain Man -esq. It is completely laced together, with no metal on the sheath. The main lace and fringe is 1/4 vegtan leather and the carry strap and antler button are sewed on with imitation sinew.
