Stop Chasing Farm Grants! Do THIS First | 2026 Farm Funding Guide

Stop chasing grants. Start with your farm goal.

One of the biggest mistakes we see is finding a grant first and then trying to build a project around it.

Instead, ask yourself: What problem am I actually trying to solve on my farm?

Better soil? Less erosion? Improved irrigation? Pollinator habitat? New infrastructure? A value-added product? A stronger local food system?

Once you know the goal, you can start looking for the program that may help you accomplish it.

We put together a 2026 Farm Grants & Cost-Share Guide covering USDA, NRCS, Missouri, and regional opportunities—including what they fund, deadlines, funding amounts, and programs to watch.

We also have a longer YouTube video for farmers who want to dig deeper.

Comment “GRANTS” and we’ll send you the information.

What is one project you would like to accomplish on your farm?

🍃 From Farm to Cup — in 20 seconds! ☕

Ever wonder how we make our farm-fresh tea? It all starts right here — hand-harvested herbs grown with care at Harvick Farms. We dry them slowly to preserve every bit of flavor, package them with love, and brew them into something truly special.

Pour hot water, steep 10–15 minutes, strain, and sip the taste of the farm. 💚

From our garden to your cup — always fresh, always local. 🌿

Thanks to my oldest who made this video and learning technology.

☕ Hot or iced — how are you drinking yours? 🧊

Our Sunset on the Farm Tea was made to be enjoyed both ways. Brew it warm for a slow, cozy evening, or make it a little stronger and pour it over ice for a refreshing afternoon drink. 🌿🌅

Floral, smooth, and inspired by those quiet Ozark sunsets we get to enjoy right here on the farm.

One tea. Two ways. Which are you choosing — HOT ☕ or ICED 🧊?

🍂 SEPTEMBER IS HERE — and the hustle is REAL. 🌱

This time of year, there’s no shortage of things happening at Harvick Farms.

🌱 Building out our fall gardening succession
🚜 Planting and preparing for the next harvest
📋 Managing the business behind the scenes
🫖 Getting our farm-crafted teas into more hands
🍓 Distributing freeze-dried snacks
🥬 And moving A LOT of fresh, locally grown produce through our community.

September is one of those months where everything seems to happen at once.

And this is exactly why strategy, systems, and processes matter.

When the farm is moving this fast, we can't afford to reinvent the wheel every day. Having a plan for planting, harvesting, processing, inventory, distribution, and the business side of farming helps us work more efficiently and keeps things moving even during our busiest season.

Because farming isn't just growing food.

It's planning.
It's processing.
It's marketing.
It's distribution.
It's business management.
And sometimes… it's doing all of those things before lunch. 😂

September is here.

Time to hustle. Time to harvest. And most importantly, time to put those systems to work. 🌱💪

If you’re visiting Roaring River, keep an eye out for Harvick Farms and grab a tea or freeze-dried snack while you’re there!

There’s something pretty special about sitting down at a restaurant and realizing… we helped grow what’s on the plate. 🥬🍅❤️

We stopped at Roaring River Adventures LLC. at Roaring River State Park for a bite to eat, and Lainey ordered a salad made with produce sourced from local farms—including Harvick Farms.

THIS is why local food matters.

Farmers in our community grow it. Local businesses and organizations support it. And eventually, it ends up right back on a plate being enjoyed by someone in our community.

It just happened to be us this time. 😂

From our local farms ➡️ to your plate.

And yes… the farmer approves of the salad. 😂🥗
