Busy weekend in the studio finishing 45 various upcycled bags (all made from actual cracker and candy bags). I used the VERY LAST bits of my favorite orange fabric for the inside of the Cheez-It bags, which makes me sad because it is such a perfect match. Now I'm on to other reusable items because craft show season is ON!

I received this review last night, and it might be because I'm a crier, but it made me teary. I have been running my shop for nearly 20 years, through SO MANY life changes. I have absolutely LOVED making cat toys the past few years as an added offering to my items. These cat snacks are detailed and time-intensive and seeing other cats (and humans) enjoy them warms every single corner of my heart.

In between working a new part-time job, helping my middle son visit and select a college while staying focused on IB tests and finals, and help my youngest prep for a new adventure next year, I've been busy sewing and preparing for my only spring/summer market!
Visit me and a bunch of other amazing artists at the Horseshoe Market at Leevers Locavore on May 9th from 10am-4pm.
I will have something for everyone and I'm debuting my Farm Fresh Fruits & Veggies plushies which I can't wait to share with you! Grab some Auto Trash Bags, upcycled bags, reusable towels and dusters (they make fantastic Graduation and Mother's Day gifts!)

I'm 100% sure there's an "easier" way to do trace the shapes I'll eventually cut out to make Cat Snacks cat toys, but I find a lot of joy in the process of it all. Mamamade items are truly handmade every step of the way.
