From a young age, Staci found herself enchanted by the idea that an object could outlast its owner and pass to a new one.
That enchantment became Kimbal Road.
She grew up spending summers on her grandmother's dairy farm in Kansas. A woman who never threw anything away because everything had value, and everything came with a story.
A wedding dress that wasn't white because they couldn't afford something worn only once. A brass dish gifted on a 50th anniversary. A butcher block from a great grandmother's general store, worn smooth from years of use.
Staci doesn't always know what makes her pick something up and think it needs to come home with someone. It's a feeling. More often than not, she thinks the piece picks her.
Maybe you'll leave with something. Maybe you'll remember that copper candlestick of your grandmother's buried in a box in the basement. You'll pull it out, dust it off, place it somewhere it can be seen, and continue a story that's already been started.
