Kones Korner is known all across the upper Midwest and Great Plains as a 1920's rural gas station and store run by the Kones family. In 1964 Curt Carter bought the gas station from his uncle and moved his family from their dairy farm to give the new venture a try. In 1967 a longtime gun hobby of Curt's was combined with the store. Curt's son Vic took over the store in 1994, and is the current owne

r. Today there are still gas pumps and munchies for travelers, but the store now carries an inventory of approximately 2500 fi****ms. Fi****ms can be purchased at the store, or purchased through Vic's son Charlie and shipped to a dealer in your area of the country or world. The shop has sent guns to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and England. Kones Korner is always looking to buy single guns or whole collections.

Please Note: We went back to Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. The price of smelt continues to climb. We will be charging $25.00 per plate.
