We were stoked to have Josiah Nelson from Mountain Grass Unit visit the shoppe while he was in town last week! Thanks for stopping by to hang out. We have some pretty amazing instruments come through our repair shop! This Bourgeois Guitars slotted headstock 12 fret guitar made of mahogany from “The Tree” wowed all of us here at Appalachian Bluegrass. We take great pride in our work here and are happy to work on any level of instrument, from guitars made of “The Tree” to an old be**er guitar sitting in your attic. Our good friend and dobro player Carter Giegerich was in town teaching at Common Ground on the Hill and stopped by the shoppe to check out some of the instruments that we have in stock. Dave Giegerich, Carter’s dad taught at Appalachian Bluegrass for years and was a big part of the Baltimore music community.
