The Catskill Public Library is celebrating the 125th anniversary of its historic building on Saturday, October 24, and the community is invited to join the festivities!

From 11 AM to 4 PM, enjoy a free day of live music, local history presentations, food, art, children's activities and more. The celebration will also offer a look at the library's upcoming renovations, which will help preserve the historic building for generations to come.

The Catskills Comedy Festival is back this weekend, October 16–18, bringing a weekend of laughs, entertainment and community fun to the Village of Catskill!

Now in its third year, the festival will feature 18 shows across seven local venues, with stand-up, improv, alternative comedy, film and free family programming.

A new coffee spot has arrived in Catskill! Saugerties-based Josie’s Coffee Shoppe recently opened its second location at 51 West Bridge Street, bringing its warm, community-focused café experience to Greene County.

Owner Vanessa Piazza says her growing connection to the Catskill community made the village a natural home for Josie’s next chapter.

Housed in a historic 1900s beverage bottling plant on Main Street, Old Factory Brewing Company has brought new life to a piece of Cairo’s history.
