One of the wonderful benefits of embarking on this venture is discovering neat little shops and businesses in the greater Catskill Region such as the Buzzing Bee Market on Route 212, sort of midway between Saugerties and Woodstock. They just came on board, offering our Kaaterskill Falls and Overlook Mountain patches. And this fine place has so many unusual offerings, much of which you'd be hard pressed to find any place else. The Buzzing Bee features imported goods, ice cream, fresh and seasonal flowers. Among the careful selection of products enjoyed by their family, the community, neighbors, and now customers you’ll find sundries, bottled goods, pastries, gifts, gardening supplies, and much more. Stop in when you're in the neighborhood. You'll be glad you did.

More than two years ago Catskill Collectibles was the first retail outlet to feature my Catskill Climbs Collectable Hiking Patches. It has been, by far, my very best customer. For that I am eternally grateful. I wish Tom much success with his plans to grow and further celebrate the Catskill Mountains, its beauty, its history, and its artists.

Please check out our most recent Catskill Climbs family of shops, Camp Catskill in Tannersville, NY. It is the only true outdoor gear shop within the Catskill Park [the Blue Line] and it is, "...dedicated to offering a carefully curated selection of hiking and camping gear, clothing, and unique gifts that align with our commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings." Camp Catskill is now offering our Kaaterskill Falls patch and ornament. The very popular view of the falls seen on this patch was first celebrated exactly 200 years ago in a painting by Thomas Cole in 1826, marking a significant moment in American landscape painting. Cole's work helped establish him as a leading figure in the Hudson River School movement. Camp Catskill is located less than 10 minutes away from that beautiful and historic site.

My how we've grown! What started rather tentatively and modestly, with just three patches in June of 2024, now has grown beyond any and all expectations. We now offer in more than 40 outlets throughout the greater Catskill Region [linktr.ee/catskillclimbs] 15 high quality souvenirs in an exclusive series celebrating some of the most popular hikes in the Catskill Mountains. In addition, we recently added holiday ornaments for two of those hikes, Kaaterskill Falls and Overlook Mountain. And coming soon to Catskill Climbs will be a hiking stick medallion, again for that very famous Kaaterskill Falls in Haines Falls, NY. Sorry for rushing the holiday season a bit, but we wanted to let you know in plenty of time that on a limited basis we have created a new product directly related to our very successful line of collectable hiking patches. We are now offering two brand new Christmas tree ornaments, for Kaaterskill Falls and Overlook Mountain, both based on our corresponding and very popular hiking patches.
These attractive items will soon be available at three locations, perhaps in a week or two. The Kaaterskill Falls ornament will be at Catskill Collectibles in Catskill, and Tannersville Antiques in Tannersville. The Overlook Mountain ornament will be at H Houst Son in Woodstock. Hopefully other shops soon may also decide to offer them as well.
They are two-sided, about 2" in diameter and made of acrylic. We hope you get to enjoy your favorite choice(s).

It's finally here, or at least in our own shop: the Bramley Mountain fire tower patch. It's our seventh such souvenir to help satisfy the DEC's Catskill Mountain Fire Tower Challenge. It's not yet available in any of our retail outlets just yet. Hopefully that soon will change. If you've enjoyed visiting or plan to hike up Bramley Mountain anytime soon you should definitely ask for it when you visit any of our shops that currently feature our Catskill Climbs keepsakes.
