How do you respond to events like this?
RE: Charlie Kirk death

PRAY For the country, for forgiveness in the hearts of God's children, for no revenge, hatred, anger, bitterness to set in. For the family of Charlie and for other families involved to turn their hearts and minds to the Lord and for God to get all the glory for the outcome.

This isn't about religion or politics, this is about how each of us respond to events out of our control, it's about living in the character and heart of peace and love and forgiveness through every situation.

The first place to look when asking this question is in the oldest book in the world, the word of God.

Here in Romans 12, it says:

"Bless those who persecute you. Bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Carefully consider what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible on your part, live at peace with everyone.

Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”
