Things tend to grow naturally over time.
Projects grow.
Ideas grow.
Communities grow.
And when they do, organization starts to matter more than we expect.
It’s easy sometimes to just keep adding things. To shove things into a closet, turn the light off quickly, and tell ourselves we’ll come back to it later.
I’ve done that more than once with Horizons.
Not out of neglect.
Out of care.
I wanted to give flute players everything I could. More lessons. More workshops. More voices. More support.
But eventually, something became clear.

Over time, I started hearing the same things from flute players.

That wasn’t a motivation problem.

It was a clarity problem.
So instead of adding more, I stopped and looked at the root.

That said, this won’t be the right fit for everyone in every season. And that’s okay. I never want someone joining from pressure or guilt.
