Come with me to get orders ready to ship tomorrow! It was a busy weekend online.
Our challenging item today was a pressure cooker that a customer bought to ship to her son in AR. Because irregular items like appliances and some homegoods, that you buy new in a custom box made for that item, it’s challenging to ship these secondhand and not lose the farm on the shipping cost (I went to the Iowa State Fair yesterday, had to throw farm in there)! 🚜
This customer saw the item on our website and saw it was for local pickup only, so she emailed us. We were able to work with her to charge the appropriate shipping to get this item where she wanted, when she wanted it. ☺️
This is 20 minutes of time lapse. Not pictured was the 45 minutes of finding the right boxes, printing labels, weighing, etc. Small businesses are out there doing the most!
