It’s First Time Fridays!

Today we have Anise Hyssop! A native pristine wildflower, this beautiful purple bloom will attract bees and other pollinators all season long. They grow to 3-4’ tall and wide and will be absolutely covered in purple flower spikes. Once established they are very drought tolerant and great for wildlife!

Happy Tomato 🍅 Tuesday!

Today we have an herb, fennel! This is such a versatile plant, all parts of it are edible and can be used to make your dishes so tasty. Personally my favorite to use are the seeds but the bulb makes a great addition to a salad or pasta as well! We grow the Florence fennel and will have it along with several more delicious herbs next spring! Is there a herb that you wish you could get your hands on but haven’t seen in the store? Let us know and we will see if we can try it out!

It definitely feels like fall with this weather, and better way to celebrate than coming by the greenhouse to get some mums! We have lots of colors to choose from and have single pot mums, 12” containers, and some decorative containers. All perennials are also 50% off!

It’s First Time Fridays!

Today we have fall asters! The smooth blue aster is a great late blooming native prairie flower that will provide resources to pollinators getting ready for winter! And our fall ornamental mums are absolutely gorgeous, while these ornamental mums aren’t as full when right next to them they will look stunning with their striking purple color! They can also be planted in the ground and will come back year after year!

Happy Tomato 🍅 Tuesday!

Today we have the Rec Duce! This excellent beefsteak style tomato is excellent for its early ripening, prolific, and delicious nature. Excellent for large or small production it’s the perfect choice for both canning and slicing. Ripening to a uniform red color these will remind you of those classic tomatoes you saw growing up but with even better taste!

Happy Tomato 🍅 Tuesday!

Today’s tomato is the Black Cherry! Sometimes also referred to as the large black cherry tomato, these prolific plants will give you a bountiful harvest all season long! With large plants you want to make sure to give them plenty of space to grow, but once you try them you won’t want to give them up! Super sweet and with great flavor these will quickly become a favorite of your garden, and you might need more than one for any tomatoes to make it inside your house!
