✨Fun idea from The Reading Nest✨
Shop Local 🎅🏼Secret Santa🎅🏼Challenge in downtown Cedarburg!
❄️ We been so touched by how many of you intentionally show up to shop local. That support inspired a fun idea I had to do with friends and I thought I’d share here as well…
🎄Here’s how it works:
*Start by meeting up for morning coffee, lunch or dinner in downtown Cedarburg.
* After that, each person draws the name of a local shop (choose stores that are open during your outing).
* Then each person will separate and head to their assigned shop, once there set a phone timer for 20-25 minutes, and spend about $20–$25 a gift. (Or whatever time and dollar amount your group agrees on) Quick tip: bring a larger gift bag so wrapping is fast and easy and size of item can remain a mystery.
* Once shopping is done, meet back up at a local coffee shop, ice cream spot, candy store, bar/restaurant to open gifts and enjoy a treat or drink (supporting even more of our amazing local restaurants and food spots)
* Put all the gifts together, take turns choosing a mystery bag, and open them one by one. The giver can share where the gift came from and why they chose it, which makes it even more fun and meaningful.
