Dawg Town 2.0 has been asked to help with something that means far more than a T-shirt. 💚
Parker Wynk, one of our Celina football players, was injured during Friday night’s game. Over the past few days, our community has done what this community does so well - come together, pray, and surround one of our own.
Parker’s faith is incredibly important to him and his family. Friday morning, before the game, Pastor Craig sent Parker Proverbs 3:5–6.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Those words have taken on an entirely different meaning since Friday night.
We were asked to print Prayers for Parker shirts so that those here at home - and those in surrounding communities - have a way to stand with Parker, pray for him, and share the faith that means so much to him.
We'll be giving the proceeds from every Prayers for Parker shirt back to Parker and his family. Our hope is simply that it can ease even a small part of the load in the days ahead and allow the Wynk family to keep their focus where it belongs - on Parker and his recovery.
For us, this isn't about selling shirts. It’s about using what we have, right where we are, to help a family in our community.
Wear it. Pray for Parker. Pray for his family. And let’s remind them that they have an entire community standing beside them. 💚🙏
And through all of the unknowns, we hold onto what we know:
