Is the light hanging in your entryway too small for the room?

We've been interior designers in Centennial, Colorado for over 32 years, and a light that's too small for its room is an easy thing to miss, because you walk under it every day.

If each room looks nice on its own but the whole house doesn't go together, start with your colors.

Our interior design team at Carla's A Classic Design in Centennial, Colorado designed this home, and navy and gold show up in room after room. The navy is on the living room sofa and the dining room walls, and the gold is on the living room tables and the plates at the bar.

Almost every house in Colorado has one, and most of them are storage.

Finishing a basement is the cheapest real square footage you can add to a home, because the structure already exists. You are paying to make a room usable, not to build one.

The mistake we walk into is treating it like a basement instead of a room. Low, flat lighting and a ceiling nobody dealt with is what makes a finished basement still feel like a basement.

Most people do not know this is something you can simply hire out.
Every December our team goes into client homes and does the whole thing. Tree, staircase, mantel, entry. You pick the look, we bring everything, and it is finished in an afternoon.
December fills earlier than people expect, so the calendar is open now rather than in November.
