This is the newest addition to the shop. It’s a 50 watt CO2 laser cutter/engraver. I will be using it for acrylic templates, inlay work, and cutting some patterns in sides and veneer.
Just finished the rolling stand for it and need to get it down to the indoor shop.

Marking up some gorgeous old California Claro Walnut slabs for resawing backs and sides.
I picked these up at Tropical Exotic Hardwoods in Carlsbad, CA about 12 years ago and they’ve just been waiting patiently on the shelf.
Should be amazing guitars at some point in the future.
