This weekend in the Burg is Heart of Ohio USA Days Festival with a parade at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 20 and Fireworks that evening at Memorial Park. Follow their page for all the details of weekend events! We may not be on Main Street to share in the parade but we will be open and Skylar is eager to welcome you into the shop after the parade. We are located at 108 N Hartford Avenue, Centerburg. Each week through our closing we will begin to reduce prices and inventory to create some great deals. Stay tuned for our complete listing as our shop will be permanently closing on July 11. Stop and see us!

Fireworks Extravaganza
At 10 pm Saturday, June 20th, do not miss the fabulous fireworks Extravaganza Show! Hamberg Fireworks has done a wonderful job for the past 21 years! This year the fireworks are brought to you by Centerburg’s Peter Hayden Chapman Amvets Post 50 and the Centerburg Charles Andrews Post 460 of the American Legion! Although it seems like only recently that I announced closing the previous shop and relocating to the trail, soon 8 months will have passed. Unfortunately, it never gets easier, but the shop at 108 N Hartford Avenue in Centerburg will permanently close on Saturday, July 11. While relocating to the trail was a personal ambition, the move along with the economy has been very challenging for the business. Some vendors will remain with me until July, offering markdown inventory until we close. Skylar and I will be here to greet you until our closing date. If you have gift cards, please redeem them before July 11.

I am grateful for the opportunities over the past three years. Connecting with many of you and the cyclists has been rewarding, and I will truly miss my little trailside shop. My vendors have been my rock, encouraging me when things became challenging and curating my shop with all their handmade and local treasures. I plan to stay involved in my role with the Farmers Market and our farm marketplace events, while being more available for time with my 86 year old mom. I will always find ways to support the awesome Heart of Ohio Trail and Ohio to Erie Trail, they truly are a gem.

It truly is a small world, as an old rail bed (known as the Ohio to Erie Trail) continues to bring people through this small town. By far, my coolest acquaintance yet, as my neurologist just happened to stop at the shop, unaware that our paths would cross outside the office! I laughed and said, “You do have a life outside of the office” He was eager to purchase an SC Sweets cookie, claiming the ingredients would support a weight loss of 100 lbs. Having been my doctor for years, treating my epilepsy, this connection was a totally cool surprise. If you need a good neurologist, he is your guy! 💜 OhioHealth Neurological Physicians

Good morning Centerburg! Come visit us on the trail in our cozy little shop! We have snacks, drinks, coffee, ice cream and so much more. Our hours are Thursday-10-3, Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-2 with an occasional Mondays. We are located at 108 N Hartford Avenue, Centerburg -opposite end of Pizzaburg.

ICE CREAM was a popular choice today, and Round Hill Dairy cant be beat. Although the heat might have kept some cyclists away, we still welcomed Logan from Galena, Greg from Westerville, and a wonderful couple riding from Sunbury who enjoyed some Black Raspberry ice cream on our patio. Our hours are Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-2. Stop and see our new look to the shop and new items. Primitives by Julia will soon be bringing in new inventory too!

I spent the day in the store and reorganized the layout. Our snack section is expanding, so more space is needed, I waved my magic wand and now we have a new shop! We are carrying

We have downsized our clothing section to focus on western themed apparel from Mayberry Mercantile, Cyclying t-shirts from Say It Simply Designs and Trojan apparel from Bee's Tees. Stop in and see our cycling dad tees for upcoming Father’s Day gifts. We also have a great selection of college/professional sport teams hats and some fun grilling products for dad! Please keep in mind we close early on Thursdays due to the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market, our hours are 10-3 on Thursday! Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-2. We will be open on Monday, June 15 from 10-4! Shop our summer collection of Americana and beach decor! We can create a Father’s Day gift basket too!

The Centerburg Public Library is a gem in our community. As a child growing up in our small town nearly 50+ years ago, I recall visiting the library during school field trips and participating in summer programs. We greatly appreciate Tina and the staff for their collaborative efforts during our Moon Walks, providing engaging activities for our guests. We are also excited to join other local businesses as sponsors of the summer reading program.
