Another load going in the solar kiln, including walnut, sycamore and dimensional cut cherry. This will be dried down to less then 10% MC. Should be done in about a month. We have a sensor that monitors inside kiln temperature and maximum temp - need 130°F to kill any bugs.

Really cool custom order came in. Sawing these axe cut oak beams for a couple that are building a new house. These were saved from their 150 year old house that was taken down and these will be repurposed as mantles. These were growing trees in the 1700's!
