GRAAL VASE - RUNNING HORSES $650
Beautiful Graal Vase with 5 running horses on multi-colored browns and golds background.
Graal is a process where the artists paints onto a glass blank with special paints.
The glass blower then puts it through their process blowing it into the final form.

This vase has five (5) horses running on it with a multi-colored background.
The opening is approximately 3" in diameter.
Vase is approximately 7" tall by 7" at widest point, and approximately 4" thick.
Artist: Beth Shira Carver. (1943-2011) Beth Shira Carver, was a PNW artist, born in 1943 in Alert Bay village on Cormorant Island, British Columbia (near Vancouver Island), and died on October 12, 2011, as a result of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
She lived in numerous places in Canada and California eventually settling in South King County, Washington State.
Beth's art was shown in multiple galleries and people living all over Canada and the US have her creations.
Beth worked in numerous mediums: oil painting, watercolors, sculpture, pen and ink, stained glass, and fused glass with a brief time in experimenting in the Graal technique. All these skills were self-taught. In July 2011, she won 3rd place at the Equine Art show at Emerald Downs for her fused glass piece. Previously she'd won Oregon's statewide exhibit.
Glassblower: Sean Kif, with Uptown Glassworks. Nothing more is known about him.
