Got such a great group of folks together yesterday for my first pulled wool saddle pad class. It went so well, and we got serenaded with original cowgirl songs, doesn’t get much better than that.

Better get signed up folks! I signed up husband up for Friday’s rawhide braiding class.

My classes will be open for sign up even until the DAY of! It never hurts to get your ducks in a row though—head on over to Makers of the West to sign up for my Friday or Saturday class.

I’m low on stock right now, as I’ve pulled most of my wool roving off the shelves for my pulled wool saddle pad next week. Want to make sure students get their pick of colors.

I will restock on Sept 13th and let everyone know what colors I have on hand then. Thank you to everyone who uses me as a supplier!

I try to tuck something handmade into every order. A woven bookmark, painting, leather keyfob, or tooled coaster—something to tell you that you ordered from one person, not a big company.

Working on packing kit orders this week. I had an unexpected surge in orders so I am a little behind but hoping to have everything shipped by this Friday.

A huge thank you to all my patient customers. I’ve averaged a saddle pad every 2 weeks, I put this customer list up mid June and I’ve been working hard to get it finished so I can get it filled back up again.

I work on custom orders in the order they’re received, but sometimes as is the case with the saddle pads listed here, they were all ordered within the same month! As anybody in business knows, sometimes we all have the same good idea at the same time.

If you are ever wondering when the heck your order is gonna show up or worrying I’ve forgotten you, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Just know that your name is above my work bench and I look at it every day. Appreciate yall, thanks for paying me to make cool things.

My words of wisdom as somebody who has struggled with swivel knife work. I’ve taken the classes, got the good blade and know how to keep it sharp, but I still have a long way to go on my cuts. However, it doesn’t stop me from tooling because quitting never made anybody better. (In arts and crafts. Definitely quit bad jobs, bad men, and bad horses 😝)
