It’s the little details that make Iron Rail Inn feel like home. ❤️

If you’ve driven by recently, you may have noticed our new sign!

One of the things that makes Iron Rail Inn so meaningful to our family is knowing that so much of what you see has been created by the people who love this place most. From renovations to finishing touches, our family has poured countless hours into bringing this historic building back to life.

Our newest sign was handcrafted by the owners’ son and brother, and seeing it finally mounted yesterday was a proud moment for all of us. It’s another reminder that The Iron Rail Inn isn’t just a business- it’s a place where every detail has a story, and so many of those stories have been shaped by the hands of our family.

We hope you love it as much as we do, and we hope you’ll stop by to see it for yourself. Thank you for being part of our journey. 🚂

🎉 One Year Ago Today… 🎉

One year ago today, we opened our doors for our soft opening—not knowing just how much this journey would mean to us.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming travelers from around the world, celebrating special occasions with families and friends, meeting wonderful locals, and becoming part of so many memorable moments. Every meal shared, every overnight stay, every toast at the bar, and every kind word has helped shape Iron Rail Inn into what it is today.

To everyone who has dined with us, stayed with us, recommended us, shared a post, or simply stopped in to say hello—thank you. Your support has meant more than words can express.

As we celebrate this first year, we’re also looking ahead. We have exciting things in the works and can’t wait to continue growing, improving, and creating even more reasons to visit Iron Rail Inn.

Sometimes, a view just stops you in your tracks.

This evening, everyone on the deck at Iron Rail Inn got to witness this incredible double rainbow stretching across the Chama Valley. It was one of those moments where conversations stopped, phones came out, and everyone simply took it in.

For us, it’s a reminder of just how amazing God’s creation is. We are so thankful to Him for allowing us to experience moments like this and to share them with our guests. In the middle of busy lives, it’s a gift to be reminded to slow down and appreciate the beauty all around us.

Whether you’re here for the train, the mountains, or simply a peaceful evening on the deck, we’re grateful we get to share this special place with you.
