💐💕You really don’t get much smaller than Everlasting Love Florist as far as small businesses go a husband and wife duo with two other employees and the amount of flowers we crank out of that little flower shop on the corner of fourth and Wayne Avenue for the past 20 years it is pretty amazing. But unfortunately, this summer has been really, really hard on our business. With the high price of gas and everything else people just don’t have the money for flowers. So I’m pleading with the community if you have an aunt or uncle that has passed away please give us a call, if you’re having an anniversary in August, please give us a call, your wife’s birthday Please give us a call or how about just because you love that special somebody all it takes is one phone call to 717-263-5009.

💐 So I want to apologize this morning unfortunately we were an hour late opening the shop. Our business hours are Monday through Friday 10 AM to 5 PM and we are closed on the weekends. Unfortunately I’m short staffed this week and we had a water leak in our basement at our home. I know this summer has been really rough forever Everlasting Love Florist and very rarely do we not open on time this was a family emergency that had to take precedent this morning and I do apologize for any inconvenience. We’re doing our very best with what God has given us thank you for your understanding 💐

So this is the second time we’ve done this arrangement, mixing elements of mother nature and incorporating them into a casket spray. The family brings in something that reminds them of the loved one who’s passed in this case Whitetail deer, antlers, turkey, feathers, and fishing lures it really personalizes the last thing that you can do for a loved one that’s what separates Everlasting Love Florist from corporate multimillion dollar flower shops!

Just a few pieces we’ve done over the couple weeks. Unfortunately business has been really slow this summer and as a small business I have to make a very hard decision. What does the future hold for Everlasting Love Florist? It doesn’t look too good so if you like to keep small businesses running the community needs to utilize them. Remember, we are open Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM. After being in the business for 20 years, I have to ask would you go to a steakhouse to have your taxes done and the answer would be”NO” what does a steakhouse know about taxes absolutely nothing. So why is it that the funeral homes always want to take care of the 💐??? Funeral homes take care of your loved ones that have passed. Flower shops like Everlasting Love Florist take care of the casket spray. It’s the last thing you can possibly do to show how much you loved and cared for that person so stop allowing the funeral homes to dictate who gets to do the flowers, that should be up to you and your family. The funeral homes have enough responsibility dealing with your loved one.
