It is with sadness that we share the passing of Fred O'Neil. Fred was a friend to all, a quiet conversationalist, who could entertain you with funny stories, always with a dry sense of humor that would make you laugh.
Fred and his wife Judy were active members of local chapters of the MI Hummel Club, the previous Antietam Valley Chapter of Waynesboro, PA and the current Blue Ridge Mt. Chapter of Friends Together, of the tri-state area of south central PA, western Md, and northern VA.
Fred and Judy frequently opened up their home for Hummel Club meetings and enjoyable summer picnics. They attended many of the National MI Hummel Club Conventions and enjoyed planning vacations and traveling to coincide with them. In addition to attending the only International Local Chapter Conference in Germany with the Das ,,BumbleBees" Haus tour, they visited the Hummel factory, Das, Berta Hummel Museum, and Sieseen Convent.
It was a delight to see their Hummel collection grow over the years.
Our sincerest sympathy to his devoted wife, Judy. They were truly two peas in a pod.
