The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter Thrift store is ready for Memorial Day, the 4th of July and the celebration of 250 years of our amazing country. We have a representation of from sea to shining sea with two wonderful beach paintings. One of them is an original by Chambersburg’s own Dorothy Yoh! We have a red, white and blue 16 wheeler truck to represent our hard workers; cowboy boots and hat are also representative of hard workers. Our models are dressed for a family picnic in their red, white and blue attire. They have their vintage picnic basket, a patriotic tray with plates and glasses ready for the picnic. If they get hungry before they can get into their picnic supplies they can reach back and pluck some fruit from the abundantly filled fruit basket which represents things grown in America. We also have a small Liberty Bell and tons of red, white and blue decorations, an army uniform for the military, a baseball tee shirt and a Coca Cola shirt! Y’all stop by and check it out!
