If you ordered a Welcome Box, there's a good chance your kiddo's box is on these shelves! 💙🧡 Their tag is printed, their Little Bucket of Hugs messages are ready, and their box is being filled. (Don't worry—the bakery goodies will be added fresh right before pickup!)

I've spent most of today parked in front of my printer, printing Welcome Box orders, note cards, and "Little Buckets of Hugs"notes... and I have to tell you, I've been laughing one minute and getting teary-eyed the next.
Reading your messages to your kiddos has been such a reminder of what these boxes are really about. The inside jokes, the encouragement, the reminders that someone back home is always cheering them on... it's pretty special. 🥹
Welcome Box orders have absolutely taken off, and I'm making sure I have enough supplies for everyone. I still have a little space left, and I'm working my way through everyone who has asked for the link. I'll get it to you before we fill up!

I honestly can't believe how many orders have already come in. Reading about your Illini—their personalities, what they love, and the little things you want me to know before I meet them—has already brought so many smiles. 🥹
And I have a feeling I'm going to need a box of tissues when it's time to print all of the messages for the Little Buckets of Hugs.

If you signed up for my email list but didn't receive the Welcome Box email, just let me know! I'm going through the folks who have already reached out now, so yours will be coming. I found the glitch, the sign up form had a double opt in and some folks didn't see it or get it, so the world of spam prevention didn't allow them to get these! If you didn't get yours, you may want to check for an opt in email. Some email providers block batch emails or send them to spam.

While I'm putting the finishing touches on everything, I thought I'd share one of my favorite parts of this year's Welcome Boxes... the Little Bucket of Hugs. 💙🧡
Each box includes six little notes from home that you get to personalize, so your Illini has a little encouragement whenever they need it.
While I'm wrestling with these forms 😅, you can start thinking about your answers. I have a feeling these little notes are going to be so appreciated, even if they don't tell ya! 🥹
