If you want people to stop scrolling, you need a pattern interrupt. Here are a few that actually work 👇

1. Movement!
Step into frame, walk toward the camera, flip your hair, point, sit down fast. Static videos = scroll city.

2. Hands = engagement magnets.
Pointing, snapping, typing, tapping text, holding a coffee… your hands moving keeps eyes watching.

3. Micro-dancing (yes, even if you “can’t dance” like me. 🤣)
It’s not about choreography, it’s about rhythm- which I also don’t have but hey I try my best!

4. Text that feels unfinished.
“Wait for it… like I did 😉
“You’re doing this wrong…”
“No one tells you this part…
Our brains NEED closure and we are curious to know what YOU are going to say

5. Start mid-action, not mid-sentence.
Open the laptop. Drop the keys. Turn around fast. Give them something happening immediately.

Remember- your content doesn’t need to be perfect!

Truth: Gaining traction without showing your face is harder — but not impossible.

Trust isn’t built by faces alone.
It’s built by:
• Consistency
• Clear messaging
• Valuable content
• Repetition

2️⃣ Update your hours of operation (yes, even holiday + special hours).
3️⃣ Stop using AI photos — Google wants real, authentic images.
4️⃣ Get verified properly by showing your signage and physical location.
5️⃣ Ask your clients for reviews — reviews = higher rankings + more visibility.

Posting on social media feels cringe? You’re not alone… 😅

I know we all are afraid and maybe the thought” what if someone we know sees this” but in reality that’s exactly what you want.

A conversation to start and to consistently be top of mind. You want irl and online friends sharing your content, sharing your name so your brand reaches more.

I love nothing more than hearing “omg I saw that video you just posted” does my heart sink a little (duh) but oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️ it’s starting a conversation!

Online presence is all about consistency and most people freeze because they think it has to be perfect. Truth is, showing up consistently builds trust, attracts clients, and grows your business and its FREE.
