It’s time to give a big Shout Out to Samantha Anderson from Venice Perkins and Justin Kumm from Kearney Perkins for being our 2nd quarter 2026 Most Valuable Persons!

Samantha’s unwavering dedication, leadership and commitment to the Perkins brand for the last 8 years have earned her this MVP award! She consistently leads by example, maintains a positive attitude – even under pressure – and is always willing to step up wherever or whenever needed. Sam’s reliability, team-first mindset and genuine care for her guests, coworkers & restaurant make her a truly invaluable asset to the Venice Team. Thank you Samantha!

Justin started out as a server and has moved to trainer and shift lead not long after. He’s been labelled “one of the best trainers” due to his thoroughness and patience. He has developed a following of regular guests who appreciate his friendly attitude and speed of service. His willingness to help out wherever, whenever needed adds to what makes him a true asset to the Kearney team.

Last week our Perkins General Managers had the opportunity to attend a Perkins Brand conference to unite as a team, learn, share ideas, best practices and more with each other as well as other franchisees and Corporate Managers. Cheers to our award winners and the whole team for attending! Time well spent!

Today we have double the celebrating to do as we thank and congratulate Melissa Potter and Mark Larsen from Worthington, MN Perkins for 20 years of service - EACH! What an accomplishment and how lucky are we to have 40+ years of continued loyalty and dedication from these 2 Super Stars?! It’s time to give a big Shout Out to Alexus Baird from Kingsport Perkins and Randy McWilliams from Grand Forks Perkins for being our 1st quarter 2026 Most Valuable Persons!

Alexus was hired as a server in 2024 with no previous serving experience but she and her positive attitude and energy have done whatever it takes to make sure the Kingsport team has what it needs to succeed. She frequently covers shifts as needed and the Kingsport team does not know what they would do with out her! Thank you Alexus!

Randy has been a pillar at the Grand Forks Perkins for over 40 years, over 30 of them as Kitchen Manager. Despite health challenges he remains a strong and respected team member. His industry connections have been extremely helpful when difficult situations arise. He is one tough cookie and we are so grateful to have him and his amazingly positive attitude as part of our Grand Forks team.
