Fresh sourdough is back!

We took a little family trip this week, so the kitchen has been quiet, but Wild One Kitchen is officially back and bread orders are OPEN for next week!

This week’s menu includes:
🥐 Croissant-style sourdough loaves
🍞 Mix & Match Mini Loaves
🍪 Gourmet stuffed cookies
🍫 Chocolate Chunk Brownies

Whether you’re stocking up for the week or just need a little bread therapy, I’d love to bake for you!

Preorders help me plan exactly what to make, so if you’ve been thinking about grabbing a loaf (or a few minis 😉), now’s the time.

Thank you all for supporting my little home bakery. It truly means so much to our family ❤️

Sometimes DIY projects get worse before they get better. 😂🌿

There was a solid moment where I looked at this giant pallet box and questioned every life decision that led us here.

Luckily the pallets were free, the framing was scrap wood, and I was determined to trust the process.

Tomorrow is the real transformation: adding the face boards, filling it with soil, and making it actually look like I knew what I was doing.

Some bakery days start before the sun…today started under the stars. 🌙✨

From decorating sourdough brownies and baking bread to swim lessons, mini loaves, packaging, and finally loading the truck, today has been a little bit of everything.

That’s the reality of running a small bakery as a stay-at-home mom, early mornings, lots of coffee, and squeezing every task into the day.

If you’re in Fernley, come say hi! I’ll be at the Fernley Senior Center from 5–7 p.m. with fresh sourdough, bread flights, brownies, and a few handmade gifts. I can’t wait to see everyone!

POV: You’re a stay-at-home mom trying to run two small businesses during naptime and before sunrise.

Today started just after 4 AM with sourdough orders, turned into vendor prep during an unexpected toddler nap, and ended with brownies and setting my oven to start before I wake up tomorrow.

Some days are exhausting, but getting to create, bake, and be home with my little girl makes every early morning worth it.

If you’re local, come visit me at the Fernley Public Market tomorrow! I’ll have fresh sourdough, brownies, bread flights, graduation money holders, and handmade gifts.

Some days the bakery starts before the sun does

Today’s alarm went off at 3:45AM so I could get all of this week’s dough mixed, folded, buttered, included, folded again, shaped, and tucked into the fridge for its overnight rest.

Between 30-minute timers, nearly 8 pounds of butter, stretch & folds, breakfast for my toddler, dishes, and squeezing in shaping during “quiet time,” it was one of those days that perfectly sums up running a micro bakery from home.

Tomorrow is weekly order bake day, and then bright and early Thursday morning I’ll be baking fresh loaves for the Fernley Public Market before heading over for setup.

Thank you for supporting this little dream and following along behind the scenes. I can’t wait to share everything coming out of the oven this week!

✨ First Thursday market prep! ✨

I’ve never done a midweek market before, so this week I’m figuring out how to make it work as a stay-at-home mom and home baker.

Tonight’s goal? Get ahead.

✔️ Print labels
✔️ Stamp bags
✔️ Feed the starter
✔️ Prep this week’s inclusions
✔️ Reset the kitchen

None of it is glamorous, but every little task makes tomorrow’s dough day a little easier. 🤍🍞

Follow along this week as I get ready for Thursday’s Fernley Public Market and see if this plan actually works!

It’s almost bake day! 🍞✨

If you’re hoping to grab fresh sourdough, brownies, cookies, or other homemade treats this week, don’t forget that orders close tomorrow (Monday) at 8 PM!

Can’t make a regular pickup? You can also place a preorder and pick it up at the Fernley Public Market this Thursday from 5–7 PM at the Senior Center.

I’ll also have graduation money holders and a selection of handmade laser-crafted gifts available at the market. I can’t wait to see everyone! 🤎

A customer asked if I could engrave a dog bowl.

I said, “I think so…” 😅

So I ordered a sample bowl, spent a few days researching, watched way too many videos, adjusted my laser approximately 47 times, and finally decided to just go for it.

Safe to say I’m pretty excited with how it turned out! 🎉

The best part? These custom engraved pet bowls are now officially available through Wild One Custom Crafts.

Would your pup want their name on one? 🐾

Another bake day in the books and my heart is full. 🤍

Today’s kitchen was busy with sourdough flights, mini loaves, sandwich loaves, and brownies heading out the door. Every order, share, comment, and recommendation means so much to this little home bakery.

Thank you for supporting my dream and keeping the Wild One kitchen busy. 🥹✨
