Dear Chocolatay Family,
It’s been a while since we’ve been in touch, and we wanted to start by saying thank you for all the thoughtful messages and support you’ve shared during our time away from the farmers markets. Your warmth and encouragement have truly lifted us and made us feel connected to this incredible community, even as we took a step back.
After many heartfelt conversations and considerations, we’ve made the bittersweet decision that this will be Chocolatay’s last season. The skyrocketing costs of chocolate played a significant role in our choice, though it wasn’t the only factor.
Reflecting on the past 11 years fills us with so much pride and gratitude. These years have been an adventure beyond anything we could have imagined, with incredible experiences, meaningful connections, and a community of friends who have truly become family. We feel so honored to have been a part of your lives through our chocolates, and we’re grateful for every memory, smile, and shared moment.
Our online store is currently open (shipping only) and will remain open until the end of the year (or until ingredients/packaging run out), but after that, Chocolatay as you know it, will close. We are currently out of milk chocolate, white chocolate, and our 55% semi-sweet dark chocolate, therefore many of the items available now will not return once they’re sold out. As Thanksgiving approaches, we will be offering some of your favorites: Coconut Bliss, Extra Dark Cherry Pistachio Bark, Pecan Brittle and a new one—Dark Chocolate Macadamia Bark— these confections (most of these have a shorter shelf life that the rest of our offerings) will be available to ship at the end of next week to ensure freshness for your celebrations. We’re excited to be able to bring you these last batches to share with you and yours and celebrate our last season together.
