I learned the hard way that mixing up original leg placement can cause some subtle changes in the way the table goes together. Consistent placement provides consistent results. Then a little tape to prevent the poly from interfering with adhesion of the glue.
Yes, that is eight legs. Did I mention this was two tables?

A table is a table, but adding a taper to the legs really brings out some character — it sets it apart from others. Using a straight edged board, some double-sided tape, and some patience, these legs are just what these tables need

This piece was made for Team Moosetti at the end of 2024—a charcuterie board given as a gift to their supervisor.

Each team member emailed me their signature, which I prepped in LightBurn and engraved over the red oak surface. The moose silhouette ties into the team's identity, and the wood grain gives it natural character. The engraving locks in those signatures permanently—years from now, this will still look exactly like it does today. A great gift of appreciation to a great leader.
