One of the many treasures I brought home from Round Top.

This cowgirl truly had my name written all over her. The funny part? When we first stumbled upon this incredible artist, I had my eye on a completely different piece. I asked to hold it and told him I’d come back at the end of the day—if I hadn’t spent every last penny.

When I returned, he surprised me with this sketch… and it felt so much more like me. I knew instantly she was coming home with me.

She now hangs in my powder room, where the blue from her bandana pairs perfectly with my wallpaper. I find myself sneaking in there just to admire her. She’s a daily reminder of such a special trip with some of my closest girlfriends.
