Maintaining AMACO’s Ceramic Printing Inks is simple and easy. When working with the Inks, you may leave the lid open for long periods of time, and depending where you live and the climate, open air may cause the Inks to dry out faster.
AMACO’s Gum Solution and distilled water will bring life back to the Inks if they ever happen to dry out!
PSA: Never use water from your faucet or fridge, it will contaminate your Inks - only use distilled H2O and AMACO Gum Solution!
Some printing methods require a thicker ink, while some require a velvety ink. AMACO’s Ceramic Printing Inks is one ink that can do it all! Leave a glob of Ceramic Printing Ink on a paper plate to dry out until you achieve the consistency you want for the type of printing technique. Dried out too much? Add distilled water & AMACO Gum Solution to bring it back to the perfect viscosity!
